Some instruments tend to get typecast in stereotypical roles. For example, the tuba tends to get assigned "oompa" parts or slow plodding elephant-on-Quaaludes types of music. However, in Allons-y! (2014), both the tuba and piano move fast, demonstrating swift dexterity. Meaning "let's go," "Allons-y!" was one of the catch-phrases of the Tenth Doctor in the television series, "Doctor Who." Allons-y! was composed for tubist Benjamin Miles.
